Position: Regional A&D Manager
Department: UK Sales
Reports to: UK Sales Director
You will serve as the primary liaison between our furniture and the architectural and design communities. This role focuses on building and nurturing strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and other industry professionals to develop new business opportunities and gain specification of our portfolio from specifiers and end users nationally, increase brand awareness, and ensure our products are integrated into high-value projects.
Sales Strategy & Execution: | Business Development & Relationship Building |
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting the architect and design market, with the goal of maximising revenue and market penetration · Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to align goals and ensure a consistent approach to targeting the A&D segment · Identify and pursue project-based sales opportunities with high potential for revenue growth · Conduct regular market analysis to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning within the A&D community · Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management, identifying areas for improvement or additional growth. | · Cultivate and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers, and developers to drive new business opportunities · Conduct regular outreach to design professionals, presenting our product line and providing customised solutions for their projects · Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the brand, staying current on design trends and expanding the professional network · Increase the amount of specifications achieved with existing contacts and promote our portfolio of products to potential end users

Account Management & Client Support | Product Education & Presentation |
· Serve as the point of contact for design clients, ensuring outstanding customer service and addressing inquiries, pricing, and project-specific needs · Guide clients through the specification and ordering process, from product selection to final delivery, providing clear communication and proactive problem-solving · Track ongoing projects, maintaining visibility on all stages from conception to completion and ensuring high satisfaction post-installation · Capture feedback on opportunities lost to ensure that our capability is continually progressing | · Conduct engaging product presentations and training sessions for A&D clients, educating them on product benefits, applications, and customization options · Stay informed on product innovations, industry trends, and competitor offerings to deliver relevant, value-added information to clients · Work with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and presentations tailored to the design community · Provide feedback to product development teams on market trends and client demands to inform future product lines.

Preferred Skills & Experience | How Success is Measured |
· Experience from within a commercial environment, preferably in the furniture, design, or interiors industry · Experience of new business development with a consultative sales approach · Strong organisational and project management skills to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively · Excellent presentation and communication skills, with an ability to engage and inspire creative professionals · Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software; familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Pcon) is a plus · A creative mindset with a keen eye for design, paired with strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive sales performance. · Contacts within the A&D sector would be advantageous · Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented, with a passion for building relationships and driving revenue growth.
